Odele “Get Along With Your Hair”

Celebrating the personal (and sometimes messy) journey we all have with our hair. 

Everyone has a relationship with their hair. And for most of us, it’s complicated. Our platform, “Get Along With Your Hair,” highlights these emotional journeys in a refreshingly honest way. The films combine personal childhood photos of our talent with present-day photography, set to an original cover of the jazz standard “You Made Me Love You.” High-impact OOH continues the story, juxtaposing beautiful imagery with relationship language. “Get Along With Your Hair” is a true example of Slim’s unique creative process. 

We collaborated with director/photographer Carissa Gallo from the start, making her an extension of the Slim team. The result is a campaign as beautiful as it is effective.
